Gifts to the Allegheny Cemetery Historical Association help restore & preserve this historic Pittsburgh cemetery for generations to come.
Nestled in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood, Allegheny Cemetery has served the city since 1844 — and the Allegheny Cemetery Historical Association exists to keep it that way. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization [EIN 25-1383914], the A.C.H.A. was established in 1980 to preserve the beauty and heritage of the Cemetery by supporting the necessary restorations and renovations to honor and protect the hallowed grounds, historical buildings, monuments and landmarks for the benefit of future generations.
The Allegheny Cemetery Historical Association’s historic restoration projects are made possible by generous donations from local organizations, community members, visitors and loved ones who understand the value of maintaining Allegheny Cemetery’s historic integrity.
All gifts are tax deductible and may be made in memory or in honor of a loved one.

I can’t begin to say how much I appreciate how Allegheny Cemetery took care of us. Our Family Services Rep was kind, professional, and very personable. I felt like they genuinely cared about the overall experience and made a very difficult situation so much easier for my family. Can’t thank them enough.
